Simply put - we not only value their input, but strive to invest in their future.

Typically, we hire one law student per year for a summer clerkship and part-time internship during the school year. This is a working clerkship, not the typical wine-and-dine clerkship offered by many firms. The law student can expect to get substantive assignments immediately and possibly client interaction.

Roxana A. Sullivan is one of our recent success stories. She came on board during her second year of law school, and we don’t want her to leave. During her tenure at our firm, Roxana has focused her practice in intellectual property and has worked directly with a number of CKPT attorneys and IP paralegals. We’ve worked around Roxana’s busy schedule at law school and in the time she’s been with us, she has had first-hand experience helping us with many issues – including patents, trademarks, copyrights, domain name disputes, open-source software, keywords, employee agreements, and IP ownership disputes. Roxana is graduating in May 2008 and we can’t wait to have her on board full-time.
